Proper golf attire is required. Appropriate clothing consists of: a collared shirt, pants or shorts (weather dependent), and any type of athletic shoes. A First Tee collared shirt or a First Tee cap will be provided for all new students.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?

You may register for classes on our website in the upper right hand corner in our Register My Child tab. From there you can navigate to our parent portal link on that page.

CAN MY CHILD MISS ANY CLASSES?

Attending class is the responsibility of the student and parent/guardian. While we wish all students would be able to attend every class we realize emergencies happen and sometimes life gets in the way. Prior notification is appreciated.

WHAT ARE CLASSES LIKE?

We currently offer programs for kids ages 6 – 12. Class size depends on enrollment however is typically between 10-12 students. Classes utilize all available practice facilities; the driving range, chipping green and putting green.

WHAT AGES ARE THE STUDENTS?

Ages 6 and up are welcome, every attempt is made to group students with their peers as we transition to an age-based programming model.

ARE THERE ANY PERKS OF JOINING THE FIRST TEE?

There are many benefits of The First Tee Experience. Our goal is not only to improve your child’s golf game but to aid in character development by reinforcing the values inherent to the game of golf. Additional benefits include: a membership to Youth on Course after completing their first session with First Tee North Coast (Youth on Course is a membership which offers discounted rates for junior golfers at various courses in the area).

HOW CAN I SUPPORT THIS PROGRAM?

There are several opportunities to contribute to First Tee North Coast. If you are interested in coaching or volunteering please contact Gerardo Navarro at [email protected] for more information. If you would like to make a donation to the program, we are grateful to receive your assistance.

WHERE SHOULD I BUY JUNIOR GOLF CLUBS AND WHAT SHOULD I BUY?

Through our partnership with US Kids Golf, First Tee of the North Coast is able to help determine and order the proper size set for your child. Visit the US Kids Golf equipment page HERE to view available options.

When looking for junior clubs, be sure to purchase clubs based on your child’s height, not their age. Junior sets are sold in 3″ increments and the number displayed is the appropriate height of the child, NOT the length of the clubs.
